Finishing

For many people this is still an new term for a revolutionary process.

Finishing means achieving the desired surface requirements like surface roughness and structure.

Contrary to grinding, finishing does not result in heat build-up on the work piece surface in any way. Therefore finishing does not promote any altered surfaces like discoloring, softening, micro structural or crystalline change, surface tensions or even micro cracking. In fact the original material texture of the work piece is exposed and the performance component may thereby be drastically enhanced instead of weakened. Thus finishing  becomes a synonym for quality and efficiency. It is the birth of a new quality concept through the instant and "right the first time" approach to achieve the desired surface requirement.
